Bacterial Endotoxin Testing

Endotoxin Testing

Endotoxins are found in bacterial cell walls, and are released during cell lysis. The free Endotoxins can cause intense reactions with sensitive body parts and are a cause for concern when found on endoscopes used in invasive surgery. It is therefore a recommendation that Endotoxin levels be kept under 0.25 E.U/ml (Endotoxin Units per millilitre). We can provide these tests with sensitivity testing down to 0.05 E.U/ml. Pyrogen free sample containers are also provided.
